The rules — short and fair.

By using CadNexa you agree to these terms. They protect both of us. Effective from 1 June 2026.

In one line: Use the tool for your work, don't break it for others, and your drawings stay your intellectual property. We provide the service as-is with reasonable care.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using CadNexa (the website at cadnexa.com and the auto-balloon tool), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. If you're using CadNexa on behalf of an employer, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organisation.

2. What we provide

CadNexa is a web-based tool that uses AI to detect dimensions and other annotations on engineering drawings, generate balloon overlays, and produce First Article Inspection (FAI) report drafts. The free trial gives you a limited number of drawings and dimensions; paid plans extend those limits and add features.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. One account per person.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Information you give us at sign-up should be accurate. Keep it current.
We may suspend an account at our reasonable discretion if it's used to abuse the service or harm others.

4. Your content stays yours

Any drawings, files, or other content you upload remain your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership, do not share with third parties, and do not use your content to train models we offer to others. We do process your content to deliver the service (run detection, return balloons, generate reports) and — only with your consent (see Privacy Policy §5) — to improve our own detection model.

5. Acceptable use

To keep the service reliable and fair for everyone, you agree NOT to:

Scrape, mirror, or systematically download any part of the service.
Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access the AI engine outside the official UI.
Reverse engineer our detection logic, prompts, or model weights.
Resell access to your account, or share login credentials with multiple users.
Use the service to train a competing AI model or product.
Upload content you don't have the right to share, or content that infringes anyone's rights.
Use the service to process classified or export-controlled material (e.g., ITAR / EAR / India-controlled defence drawings) unless you have written approval from us first.
Attempt to circumvent the free-trial limits, rate limits, or access controls.
Use the service to harm, harass, or defraud anyone.

Violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.

6. Free trial and paid plans

Free trial: 2 distinct drawings with combined dimension caps as displayed in the tool. Resets and pricing details are subject to change.
Paid plans: billed monthly or annually in the currency shown at checkout. Renewals are automatic until you cancel.
Refunds: 30-day full refund on first paid subscription, no questions asked. Beyond that, prorated refund at our discretion.
GST and taxes: for Indian customers, GST is included or added per the invoice. Tax invoices are provided automatically.
We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; existing subscriptions stay at their current rate until renewal.

7. Output and your responsibility

CadNexa's AI is highly accurate but not perfect. Auto-detected balloons, dimension values, and FAI report drafts are tools to assist a qualified engineer, not a substitute for one. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the output before it's used for inspection, manufacturing, regulatory submission, or any safety-critical purpose. We are not liable for downstream decisions based on unreviewed AI output.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep CadNexa available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, change features, or temporarily restrict access. We will give reasonable notice for planned downtime where practical.

9. Intellectual property (ours)

The CadNexa name, logo, design, code, prompts, models, and documentation are our intellectual property. You may use the service under these terms; you don't get any other rights. Don't reproduce our content, brand, or interface without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement). We don't warrant that the AI detection is error-free or suitable for any specific certification body's requirements; the FAI report layouts are reference templates and must be reviewed against your customer's current specification.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CadNexa's total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you actually paid us in that period (or ₹1,000 if you're a free-trial user). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, business interruption, or data loss.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or content you upload that infringes a third party's rights.

13. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time and cancel a paid subscription from your account. We may suspend or terminate the service or your account if you breach these Terms or for legal / safety reasons. On termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions that should reasonably survive (IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) continue to apply.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Before filing, please write to support@cadnexa.com — most things can be sorted in a single email.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Effective from" date below shows when the current version started. If a change is material, we'll email account holders and update the version on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
